I’m excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with The Grooveman (so named because he is the grooviest of men!) to bring a touch of that classic BBC Monitor sound to South Australia in the form of Stirling Broadcast speakers.
After spending some time with their tiny LS3/5a V2, I was captivated by the exceptional midrange tone and emotion these diminutive boxes can convey. Despite their size, they can fill a good-sized room with music with surprising ease.
The Stirling LS3/5a V2
Using carefully designed SEAS drive units (from Norway), the Stirling LS3/5a V2 is a fully licensed design. With an 11-ohm impedance, it retains the rich seductiveness of the original 15-ohm versions.
The-ear.net praised it: “Only a few speakers are this good at holding my attention with this music.”
The Absolute Sound highlighted its extraordinary midrange richness, openness, superb imaging, and a presentation that feels much larger than its compact size.
The result is a speaker that stays faithful to the original LS3/5 prototype. It plays beautifully with as little as 20 watts, pairs wonderfully with well-designed tube amplifiers, and works just as well in small or large spaces.

Buy Once, Buy Right
Like all speakers, the LS3/5a V2 has its compromises, but once you’re listening, those shortcomings quickly fade as you simply get lost in the music. At GrizzlyWorks, we don’t do “cheap”—because the things worth owning rarely fall into that category.
The Stirling Broadcast LS3/5a V2 lives up to this philosophy. Available in Cherry, Walnut, English Oak, and Black Ash veneers, as well as premium finishes like Wild Oak, Zebrano, Ebony, and Rosewood. We can also supply specially designed stands to match.
The Full Stirling Range
Beyond the LS3/5a V2, we also have access to the complete Stirling Broadcast lineup, including:
